Just a quick note (sorry, it got longer than I thought) to keep you informed on the mattress cleaning business opportunity and found… way, way below, are some interesting “links” concerning the need for the mattress cleaning services!
Firstly, you should have received the information you requested and if not, or you have additional questions, please feel free to email me at any time.
Secondly, and to jump-start the “pioneer” members of the SterilMattress Consortium, the total cost of the “business-in-a-box” has been discounted to $1995 and will apply for a limited time only, at which time the original price of $2495 will be resumed. This cost is still MUCH LOWER than the others, offering equipment to get into the mattress cleaning business/industry. As a SterilMattress Consortium member, additional equipment sets will be priced from $1200 to approx. $1400, depending on the latest and greatest technological upgrades.
Remember, one of the purposes of the Consortium (basically Dealers) is to 1). provide access to the services from potential customers (educated in the need for the service) who contact me (website/phone calls) from other areas of the country and
2). with more “service providers” in more areas, the uneducated public will become aware of the need for services that much quicker.
Another purpose of the Consortium is to communicate ideas such as marketing/advertising, additional revenue streams, distribution channels, tax tips, as well as trade electronic forms, ad headlines, brochures, sales copy letters, press releases, contacts, referrals, and even tax tips, through a members only forum on the SterilMattress website. One absolutely GREAT IDEA, just revealed to me today…well now, yesterday, by our latest member is to consider renting the equipment out for DIY’ers through grocery store chains, much like carpet cleaning equipment. (thanks for sharing the idea, Hardy!)
To keep equipment costs available to you at a minimum, there are no mailings with fancy folders containing 4-color brochures, tent card examples, CD’s, or other “frothy cream” included only to entice you in to a purchase. The creative successful entrepreneurial members sharing, trading and swapping, winning campaign strategies with other like-minded members is what is needed to springboard this new untapped industry.
Interesting and informative links: A recent article (last month, July) written by a professional cleaning consultant geared towards carpet cleaners, encouraging them to offer mattress cleaning services! http://www.cleanfax.com/article.asp?IndexID=6636228
A link (another article written/published in June ’06) providing yet another reason as to why it is necessary to “clean mattresses”. It’s a great reason… and one that hadn’t occurred to me…”keep you’re new and expensive mattress manufacturer from voiding the warranty”. http://kutv.com/consumer/local_story_180174610.html
From Canada News (Aug 2, ’06) http://www.emaxhealth.com/46/6857.html
The below link is nearly a year old (Aug ’05) but it gives some credence as to how mattress cleaning would be a benefit to the Hospitality Industry and, in my opinion, should be integrated with present housekeeping services. You, or your hired team(s), could strip beds (and drop bed linens down laundry chutes) prior to servicing mattresses and expedite housekeeping’s routine chores. http://www.hotel-online.com/News/PR2005_3rd/Aug05_Housekeepers.html
If you are no longer interested in the mattress cleaning business opportunity, simply reply stating so and I will immediately delete your email addy and of course, wish you well in your future endeavors. Be careful, be safe, and don’t get scammed…fully check out the “opportunity”. Here is a special link just for you and your financial safety.
http://www.ripoffreport.com/default.asp The U.S. public is learning and adapting to the necessary and very healthful need, to sleep on hygienic mattresses, thanks in part to the massive interest in the "Health and Wellness" boom. Additionally, the environmentally friendly SterilMattress cleaning process and cleaning "green" with UV-C, targeting government, residential, and commercial interests fits nicely into the world-wide "think green" movement.
